Human Resources Operations Coordinator

Summary

Paramount is seeking an HR Operations Coordinator to support key employee lifecycle processes and front-line employee support for the News and Stations population. The role partners with HR Centers of Excellence (HRBPs, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Data Management, Payroll) to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.

What you'll do

  • Provide front-line HR support and troubleshooting across HR programs and policies, timesheets/pay, benefits, and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Coordinate escalation and resolution of complex employee issues across Payroll, Total Rewards, IT, and HRBP teams.
  • Create and maintain employee self-service knowledge content in MyParamount and ServiceNow.
  • Support end-to-end onboarding (including freelancers), ensuring requirements, logistics, and cross-team coordination (TA Ops, HR Data, Tech, Facilities).
  • Manage end-to-end offboarding, including logistics across Payroll/Benefits/Facilities/IT, conducting exit interviews as needed, and ensuring timely system and payroll processing.
  • Process employee data changes and job requisition requests in partnership with HRBPs, Compensation, Finance, and HR Data.
  • Assist with annual EEO reporting for CBS Television Stations by collecting documentation, verifying training/job fair completion, and drafting reports for compliance review.
  • Support HRBP reporting needs by maintaining org charts, headcount files, and census reports; coordinate complex reporting with specialist teams.
  • Partner with HR Data on regular audits to maintain data quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to HR operational projects focused on process efficiency and employee experience; support client-specific HRBP projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, HR, or an administrative role (internships considered).
  • Working knowledge across HR functional areas such as Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, HR Systems/Operations, HR Compliance, and Payroll.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: experience with HRMS and/or customer service platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to leverage resources to deliver solutions.
  • Client-facing interpersonal skills and a service mindset; ability to build relationships with teams and partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively; comfort partnering with senior HR and business leaders.

Conditions

  • Fully onsite/in-office schedule: 5 days per week.
