Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Coordinator supports full-cycle recruiting and HR operations by sourcing candidates, managing the ATS/HRIS, coordinating interviews, and improving HR processes.
What you'll do
- Administer recruiting activities including writing job descriptions, posting roles, and coordinating external recruitment efforts.
- Conduct resume reviews and initial phone screens.
- Source passive candidates using LinkedIn and other databases to build talent pipelines.
- Serve as ATS administrator (open/close requisitions, troubleshoot issues, ensure compliant dispositioning of candidate data).
- Manage relationships with external staffing agencies; run intake calls, share job descriptions, and track submissions.
- Coordinate end-to-end interview scheduling for technical screens and on-site interviews.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through outreach, interviews, and onboarding.
- Oversee Affirmative Action requirements and reporting/filings.
- Research and introduce AI-driven recruiting platforms and sourcing channels.
- Track and report recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline conversion) for continuous improvement.
- Review HR workflows (onboarding, record-keeping, data entry) and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Maintain HRIS and ATS data accuracy in alignment with government contracting compliance needs.
- Support benefits and leave administration as needed.
- Assist with special projects such as handbook updates, company events, and HR software module implementations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and HR.
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional presence and ability to build rapport with hiring managers and agency partners.
Continuous improvement mindset; proactive and adaptable.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Comfortable working extended hours as needed.
Self-motivated with willingness to learn new technologies/domains.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Conditions
On-site role in Torrance, CA (not hybrid or remote).
Pay range: $26.00–$33.00 per hour.
