Summary
Acierta is a global design and production house delivering creative, production, and installation solutions across retail, events, and hospitality. The Director of Accounts will lead the strategic growth and management of key US client accounts to drive revenue, strengthen partnerships, and position Acierta as a long-term strategic partner.
What you'll do
- Act as a strategic partner for key clients and accounts.
- Translate client briefs into actionable proposals and lead delivery from concept to installation.
- Identify account growth opportunities and support upselling initiatives.
- Lead client communications with clarity, confidence, and transparency.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with client teams and partner agencies.
- Support positioning and expansion of Acierta in the US market.
- Leverage industry network to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery teams.
- Oversee project pipelines across accounts, ensuring prioritization and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Production teams to ensure successful execution.
- Maintain high quality and consistency across client deliverables.
- Own revenue targets and performance across assigned accounts.
- Monitor profitability, margins, and overall financial health of accounts.
- Oversee budgeting with internal teams and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Account Management team and foster a high-performance culture.
- Support team structure, workload planning, and capability development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in account management, client services, or business development within retail, experiential, or production environments.
- Technical academic background preferred (e.g., Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design or similar) with hands-on experience in production environments.
- Strong understanding of construction, materials, fabrication processes, and technical drawings; ability to engage confidently with production and technical teams.
- Proven track record managing and growing high-value client accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with a revenue-driven mindset.
- Leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach.
- Willingness to travel as required.
