Middle-Senior Java Developer - Low-Latency Systems (Aeron / Chronicle Stack)

CleanCode Agency is hiring a Middle-Senior Java developer to build ultra-low-latency systems using Aeron and Chronicle Stack. The role focuses on designing and optimizing high-throughput messaging systems and persistent off-heap data layers with microsecond-level precision.

• Design and optimize high-throughput messaging systems with Aeron (IPC/UDP, Cluster, Archive)
• Build persistent off-heap data layers using Chronicle Queue and Chronicle Map
• Tune JVM performance to achieve microsecond-level latency
• Implement lock-free concurrency and mechanical sympathy principles
• Optimize memory management and utilize Linux performance tooling

• Strong Java 17+ expertise
• Production experience with Aeron or Chronicle Wire & Queue
• Understanding of mechanical sympathy and lock-free concurrency
• Experience with off-heap memory management
• Proficiency with Linux perf tooling
• Trading or market data background preferred
• Bonus: SBE/zero-copy serialization, LMAX Disruptor, kernel bypass (OpenOnload/DPDK), event sourcing, single-writer architectures
