Summary
PulseRise Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their SaaS company specializing in large-scale web data and consumer insights for global brands. This is a full-time remote position focused on building and maintaining production-grade data infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Design and implement large-scale data pipelines
- Work with PySpark and Python to process big data
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Manage and architect data lakes and data warehousing solutions
- Ensure data quality and production-grade pipeline standards
- Collaborate across teams on data engineering initiatives
- Implement CI/CD practices for data infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Practical experience with Databricks (critical requirement)
- Understanding of production-grade data pipelines and data quality
- Fluent English for cross-team collaboration
- Preferred: MLflow / LLM exposure
- Preferred: Big Data & Data Lake architectures
- Preferred: CI/CD and DevOps experience
