Summary
LinkedIn is seeking a Manager, Strategic Planning & Initiatives to lead future-state business processes and drive transformational initiatives for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. This role leads a GTM strategy & operations team and scales operational and planning processes critical to business success in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop a high-performance GTM strategy & operations team.
- Coach and mentor team members on strategic thinking, operational rigor, and career development.
- Deliver global processes including annual planning, sales territory design/optimization, forecasting, compensation design, and quota setting/management.
- Lead strategic and operational projects for Sales and GTM Ops (GTM strategy, client intelligence, process improvement, automation).
- Identify and track KPIs and communicate business health insights to leadership.
- Drive operational efficiency via short- and long-term process optimization.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks; recommend resolution options and mitigations with stakeholders.
- Proactively define business problems and recommend paths forward.
- Build strong partnerships and influence across a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ownership and broaden impact beyond core responsibilities to help scale the organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in go-to-market/sales/business operations, consulting, investment banking, finance, strategy, or analytics.
- 1+ year of people management experience.
- Experience with data analysis/modeling in Excel.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- BA/BS in business, finance, economics, communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Preferred: knowledge of sales/planning processes (territory planning, segmentation, quota allocation, pipeline & forecasting, performance management, compensation design).
- Preferred: SQL experience.
- Preferred: strong problem solving, analytics, and ability to craft executive presentations.
- Preferred: strong prioritization, time management, and ability to work with little supervision.
- Preferred: collaboration, influence, organizational and program management skills; ability to drive outcomes in ambiguity.
- Preferred: experience with CRM, sales tools, and data visualization tools; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Preferred: process and workflow design experience.
- Preferred: experience in digital advertising/marketing industry or large-scale tech company.
- Preferred: AI fluency.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
