Manager, Senior Designer, Global Visual Merchandising

Summary

fresh is a global beauty and lifestyle brand headquartered in New York, operating across skincare, lip care, bodycare, and fragrance in multiple countries. The Senior Designer, Global Visual Merchandising supports the development and rollout of global VM frameworks across physical retail channels to ensure consistent, on-brand execution. This role partners with Global HQ and regional teams to translate strategy and campaign concepts into scalable guidelines and toolkits.

What you'll do

  • Support the development and rollout of global visual merchandising guidelines for campaigns, interiors, windows, and special activations.
  • Translate global VM principles and campaign concepts into clear, executable directives, guidelines, and toolkits for regional teams.
  • Maintain planogram logic, graphics, and propping standards aligned to brand codes and commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of campaign VM materials to ensure consistency across channels and markets.
  • Execute global interior merchandising principles across boutiques, shop-in-shops, and open-sell environments, enabling appropriate regional adaptation.
  • Support pop-ups, special animations, and high-visibility initiatives through guideline development and asset coordination.
  • Act as liaison between Global HQ, regional VM teams, Creative, and Purchasing to ensure clear communication and strong execution.
  • Partner with external vendors on prototyping, production, and rollout of VM elements.
  • Support new market and store openings through VM directives and execution guidance.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in visual merchandising and retail design, with exposure to global or multi-market environments.
  • Proven ability to translate brand strategy and campaign concepts into clear, scalable VM guidelines and toolkits.
  • Strong visual communication skills including hand sketches, 2D layouts, and 3D renderings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp (or equivalent), and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, production processes, and cost implications.
  • Demonstrated project management capability managing multiple initiatives and timelines across functions and regions.
  • Experience partnering with creative, production, and regional teams to deliver consistent VM execution.
  • Strong aesthetic judgment aligned to premium, brand-driven environments.
  • Experience in prestige beauty, lifestyle, or fashion retail preferred.
