Backend Engineer (Integrations, Python)

Qencode is a U.S.-based video technology company trusted by Fortune 500 organizations like NVIDIA, AWS, and Google. We are seeking a Backend Engineer (Integrations) to build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms including HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, and AI tools, working directly with our CTO.

• Maintain, improve, and extend Qencode backend APIs with focus on FastAPI
• Build and maintain integrations with platforms like HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, Intercom, Fivetran, Metabase, and Google Analytics
• Design reliable integration patterns including webhooks, OAuth flows, rate limiting, retries, and idempotency
• Handle MySQL schema design, indexing, query optimization, and data integrity
• Own and evolve billing workflows including usage calculation, credits/quotas, invoicing logic, and billing events

• Strong backend engineering experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Flask services
• Solid database skills including schema design, SQL, and query troubleshooting
• MySQL experience
• Experience with message brokers, preferably RabbitMQ
• Experience writing and maintaining database migrations
• Comfort integrating with external services and APIs
