Summary

Parfums Christian Dior (LVMH Beauty) is hiring a Supply Planning Manager to manage and optimize North America supply planning to ensure product availability while controlling costs. The role partners with French production, US warehousing, and Brand Sales/Marketing to support the ongoing catalog and new product launches while maintaining strong inventory health.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and optimize supply planning strategies and inventory levels to achieve service targets.

  • Develop, track, and report KPIs to senior leadership, HQ, and brand partners (e.g., OTIF, service level fulfillment, presence rate, cuts).

  • Perform root cause analyses for service disruptions and implement preventative actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor and challenge the Air/Sea (RAMA) shipment ratio to reduce air shipments and environmental impact.

  • Execute and coordinate new product launches by translating allocation plans and forecasts into actionable supply strategies.

  • Assess and mitigate launch delay risks; escalate alerts with recommendations to central and local management.

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure visibility and activate levers needed for successful launches.

  • Monitor launch-period consumption (M1–M3) and challenge forecast accuracy in partnership with the Forecaster Manager; identify early demand adjustment signals.

  • Track and report novelty execution KPIs (on-time delivery, consumption rates, air/sea ratio).

  • Manage inventory health including overstock, Days of Inventory/Coverage (DOI/DOC), and unneeded inventory; drive actions to mitigate obsolescence risk.

  • Oversee short-term obsolescence destruction processes, propose alternative usage, and monitor destruction lists.

  • Lead monthly stock reviews; project inventory levels and report projections, risks, and opportunities to Finance to manage P&L impact.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related quantitative field; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply planning, inventory optimization, or similar roles; experience in fast-paced, complex supply chains (luxury/cosmetics preferred).

  • Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Continuous improvement: Proven capability to identify root causes, implement effective corrective actions, and drive results.

  • Tools: Expert-level Excel; experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools; familiarity with ERP systems (AX) and advanced planning systems is desirable.

  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated project management leadership and ability to deliver initiatives end-to-end.

  • Working style: Process-oriented, adaptable, able to prioritize in a dynamic environment with high performance expectations.

  • Other: French is a plus; ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.

Conditions

  • Location: Based in the New York office.

  • Reporting line: Reports to Senior Manager Demand & Supply Planning.

  • Compensation guidance: Published annual salary range $110,000–$125,000 with flexibility to pay outside the range based on expertise, performance, and tenure.
