Backend AI Engineer

Rounds is a technology company that uses cutting-edge AI and machine learning to identify and optimize mobile assets. We are seeking a Backend AI Engineer to join our AI Innovation Team, driving technological advancement through advanced AI solutions and agents.

• Develop and maintain high-quality AI solutions for internal teams and external users
• Architect sophisticated AI agents, including multi-agent systems
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess AI performance, accuracy, and reliability
• Collaborate across diverse teams to boost developer productivity
• Continuously explore the evolving AI landscape and identify impactful tools for company growth
• Shape the company's best practices and guidelines for AI usage

• 5+ years experience in software development (preferably Python or TypeScript)
• Skilled in prompt engineering with strong understanding of LLM internals
• Proven track record developing AI agents from scratch and implementing AI solutions for businesses
• Basic DevOps proficiency (CI/CD, Cloud)
• Quick learner who adapts to new tools and approaches
• Passionate and knowledgeable about current AI trends and best practices
• Excellent English communication skills

Schedule & Location: Remote, GMT+0/+4 timezone, Flexible full-time working hours with partial synchronous communication (5 hours daily overlap with teams)

Work Model: 100% remote, distributed team of 150+ people, performance-based measurement
