Sr. Manager, People Operations
Summary
Jobgether is hiring on behalf of a partner company for a Sr. Manager, People Operations in the United States. This leadership role oversees end-to-end People Operations to ensure operational excellence, employee engagement, and compliance while building scalable HR processes that support culture and growth.
What you'll do
- Lead, develop, and manage the People Operations team through coaching, accountability, and professional growth support.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance across People Operations programs.
- Administer benefits programs including health, life insurance, 401(k), wellness programs, and leave policies.
- Drive employee relations and performance management, resolving HR issues and fostering engagement and accountability.
- Partner with leadership, external consultants, and vendors to implement HR policies and solutions aligned to business goals.
- Manage HRIS systems, maintain employee records, produce reports, and oversee compliance with labor regulations.
- Lead onboarding and offboarding processes and manage special projects.
- Support immigration needs when applicable.
- Analyze HR metrics, implement process improvements, and enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
7+ years of experience in HR or People Operations, including team leadership.
SHRM or PHR certification (preferred).
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills, including delivering difficult messages sensitively.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, think strategically, and execute operationally.
Hands-on experience with payroll, HRIS systems, benefits administration, and performance management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and employee engagement.
