Procurement Analyst
Summary
The Value Maximizer is hiring a Procurement Analyst for a utilities client to provide analytical and administrative support for category management and sourcing activities. The role focuses on preparing sourcing events, analyzing supplier proposals, and maintaining accurate procurement data.
What you'll do
Collect and analyze spend data, supplier metrics, and market trends
Prepare reports and dashboards
Assist in drafting RFQs/RFPs and bid packages
Maintain contract records and process amendments
Support day-to-day supplier communication
Verify supplier compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation
Identify opportunities to streamline data management and reporting
Escalate complex problems to the Category Specialist or Manager
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
Preferred: experience with eSourcing tools (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer)
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with ERP systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Basic understanding of procurement regulations and contract terms
Preferred certification: CPSM or CIPS (or working toward certification)
Work authorization requirement: USC or GC only
Conditions
Contract term: March 2026 to March 2027 (1-year contract)
Pay rate: $45/hr to $48/hr
Location: Tampa, Florida
Work authorization: USC or GC only; no other visas supported
