Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Oriented, Node.js)

Adaptiq is a technology hub building a cloud-native AI governance platform for enterprises. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Oriented), you will develop high-performance services and scalable APIs for a real-time AI control plane that manages sensitive data flows across enterprise systems with sub-second decision windows.

• Design and build high-performance backend services and scalable APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
• Develop distributed processing flows and policy-evaluation pipelines for real-time AI governance
• Take ownership of major technical decisions and architectural components of the core platform
• Contribute to React-based frontend when needed to deliver end-to-end features
• Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, and AI/security teams on mission-critical systems
• Work on classified data handling, audit controls, and need-to-know access filtering mechanisms

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture, distributed systems, and scalable service design
• Proven experience with SaaS-based systems and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Experience with containerized and cloud-native environments
• Practical React experience for full-stack delivery
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript runtime patterns and performance considerations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work asynchronously in distributed teams
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
• Nice to Have: CI/CD pipelines, Python and/or Go, large-scale TypeScript backend systems, LLM/AI product experience, ML/AI integration in production, B2B or security-focused product background, BSc in Computer Science
