People and Culture Generalist

The People & Culture Generalist supports smooth and efficient operations by balancing administrative and strategic HR responsibilities across recruiting, programs, and employee experience. The role helps strengthen engagement, processes, and an inclusive culture.
What you'll do
Manage end-to-end recruiting operations for full-time and contingent roles, including preliminary phone interviews.
Develop recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs.
Draft and post job ads; coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers; schedule interviews; maintain Greenhouse ATS.
Plan onboarding and offboarding activities and conduct new hire orientation.
Conduct and analyze exit interviews and provide data-driven recommendations.
Process background and reference checks.
Create and update HR procedures and policies to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Identify cultural trends and build action plans to enhance employee engagement.
Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives and environment.
Assist with benefits, compensation, and performance management administration.
Support development and implementation of training and development programs.
Support employees by resolving HR issues and providing advisory services (leave of absence, grievances, organizational change, and employee relations matters).
Perform other HR-related duties as needed.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience as a People Partner, HR Generalist, or similar role, preferably in a high-growth startup environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with strong follow-through.
Strong teamwork skills and confidence to propose improvements.
Conditions
Salary range: $80,000–$90,000 per year base plus 10% bonus (dependent on experience and other factors).
