Designer (Interior Design/Architecture)

Rapt is an award-winning design and strategy studio with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York, partnering with leading global brands on holistic design solutions. The Designer (Interior Design/Architecture) supports projects from concept through construction, contributing strong conceptual thinking, visualization, and design execution.

• Work on multiple projects of varying types and scales from concept design through construction.
• Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with interdisciplinary teams through pin-ups, workshops, and model reviews.
• Contribute to design development and visualization using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
• Support the development of construction documents for review.
• Learn and assist with project management, construction administration, and budget review processes.
• Coordinate with consultants and support building code considerations.
• Participate in client relations support and consultant coordination as needed.
• Assist with furniture/vendor coordination and selection processes.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 0–5+ years of experience in an architecture or design studio.
• Experience working with project teams from concept design through construction.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, G-Suite, and Figma.
• Collaborative mindset with strong graphic, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong conceptual thinking and interest in mentorship and professional development.
• Interest in 3D visualization (plus).

• Hybrid work: three days per week onsite in the studio, with more onsite time as projects demand.
• Not remote; candidates must be local to one of the studios and available onsite regularly.
