Social Media Manager

V-Spot is a cybersecurity research and technology institution based in London that conducts original research and develops security technologies. We are seeking a Social Media Manager (Growth Focused) to build and scale our presence on YouTube and LinkedIn. This is a growth-driven role focused on turning expertise into content that drives reach, engagement, and audience growth.

• Develop and execute a content strategy focused on growth
• Generate content ideas, formats, and series
• Write hooks, short scripts, and post structures
• Manage and direct a designer/editor for content production
• Analyze performance and optimize based on data
• Identify and scale what works; eliminate what doesn't
• Adapt content across YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
• Track KPIs including audience growth, content performance, and contribution to inbound leads

• Strong understanding of short-form content and social media growth
• Ability to turn complex topics into clear, engaging content
• Experience with content strategy and performance-driven marketing
• Analytical mindset with understanding of metrics, testing, and iteration
• Proactive approach with ability to take ownership and drive results
• Nice to have: Experience growing YouTube/LinkedIn accounts, background in tech/cybersecurity/startups, experience working with founders or expert-led brands
