Product Manager of Integrated Care

Summary

SleepDoctor is seeking a Product Manager of Integrated Care to lead the transformation of healthcare insurance workflows and patient experiences. You'll design and implement technical integrations for eligibility, prior authorization, and claims processing while obsessing over seamless patient journeys.

What you'll do

Phase 1: Connect & Integrate

  • Map healthcare landscape and design technical integrations for eligibility, prior auth, and claims
  • Work hands-on with engineering and partners to integrate disparate systems using APIs and middleware
  • Translate insurance requirements into technical specifications
  • Define Clean Claim baseline and data validation rules
  • Lead product introduction of insurance-based pathways for home sleep studies and DME therapy
  • Ensure parallel operation of cash-pay and insurance flows

Phase 2: Transform & Scale

  • Automate pre-authorization bundles and clinical documentation using AI/ML tools
  • Design digital-first patient journeys with transparent pricing and care status
  • Build automated claims scrubbing engines for near-100% clean claim rate
  • Identify platform gaps and leverage emerging health-tech standards like FHIR

Continuous Ownership

  • Own end-to-end insurance product roadmap
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Ops, and Billing teams
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and data integrity standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years Product Management experience in healthcare, health-tech, insurance-tech, or digital health
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare claims processes (835, 837 formats)
  • Comfort discussing APIs with engineers and system architecture with stakeholders
  • Proven track record transforming legacy workflows into seamless digital products
  • Hands-on mentality willing to do heavy lifting on integrations
  • Patient-first philosophy and passion for improving health outcomes
  • Experience with HSS (Home Sleep Studies) or DME (Durable Medical Equipment) flows preferred

Conditions

Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000/year, subject to qualifications and location. Eligible for company bonus program.
