CHI Software is seeking a Middle Data Engineer to join their managed service team in the automotive industry. The role focuses on hands-on implementation of modern data products with senior guidance and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do
- Implement pipelines and data transformations
- Build analytical and source-aligned data products
- Follow established standards including data contracts, modeling patterns, and testing strategies
- Work in cross-functional domain teams
- Participate in pair-programming and knowledge transfer
- Support monitoring and operational excellence of delivered data products
Requirements
- 3+ years in Data Engineering
- Previous assignments delivering pipelines and data products
- Mandatory experience with: AWS, Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Witboost, Dreamio
- Modern ELT/ETL practices
- CI/CD in data environments
- Automated testing for data pipelines
- Familiarity with Data Mesh
- Basic understanding of DataOps
- Understanding of governance, lineage, and SLAs
- Comfortable working in Agile cross-functional teams
