Brand Designer
Summary
Givebutter is a nonprofit fundraising and CRM platform that helps organizations run campaigns, events, donation forms, and donor management in one place. The Brand Designer will execute and evolve Givebutter’s joyful, consistent brand across marketing, web, print, events, and in-product experiences to strengthen recognition and brand equity.
What you'll do
Execute high-quality brand design across campaigns, landing pages, social, print, events, and email.
Partner with Product Design to extend brand expression into the product while maintaining usability and clarity.
Contribute to and evolve brand systems (templates, guidelines, component libraries, asset documentation).
Maintain visual consistency across touchpoints; proactively identify gaps in brand application.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and communicate timelines and status to stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Product Design to ensure work is aligned, on-brand, and impactful.
Present design work with clear rationale and incorporate feedback constructively.
Participate in critiques by giving and receiving feedback; contribute to a culture of craft and continuous improvement.
Requirements
5+ years of brand and/or marketing design experience with a portfolio demonstrating range (campaigns, visual identity, digital, print).
Strong craft in typography, composition, color, hierarchy, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
Fluency in working within brand systems and identifying where guidelines/systems should evolve.
Ability to move between marketing and product contexts while maintaining brand consistency.
Clear communication of design decisions and ability to incorporate feedback while preserving quality.
Balance of creative exploration and production discipline; ability to ship efficiently.
Comfort working in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities.
Bonus: motion/animation, Webflow or other no-code tools, collaboration with product design teams, mentoring/structured feedback, use of AI tools in creative workflow, agency and/or in-house experience, consumer or nonprofit brand experience.
