Summary
Shake Shack is a fast-growing hospitality brand focused on "Enlightened Hospitality" and supporting its team members. The People Resources Operations Coordinator serves as the Tier I point of contact for People Resources inquiries, using case management and HR technology to resolve issues and maintain accurate people data. The role supports program and system improvements while safeguarding team member data and privacy.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary (Tier I) People Operations contact for team members and managers, providing education and troubleshooting for simple-to-complex inquiries across the employee lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve trending issues by collaborating with stakeholders and documenting solutions to improve the support experience.
- Process day-to-day People Resources transactions and maintain employee/organization data in PR technology platforms (e.g., Workday, Paradox), ensuring data security and appropriate access.
- Run routine and ad-hoc reports and audits to ensure people data and process integrity and accuracy.
- Create self-service reference guides, knowledge base articles, and training materials with an end-user focus.
- Support change management for PR technology enhancements and PR programs, maintaining and updating knowledge content.
- Partner with PR program leaders (Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compliance, Learning & Talent Development, People Practices) to provide feedback and recommendations to improve systems and programs using reporting and case insights.
- Support PR technology enhancements/implementations by coordinating change activities, documenting processes, and performing/assisting with user acceptance testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Related experience in HR/People Operations (e.g., Generalist, Coordinator, Analyst) and/or shared services/customer service.
- Experience with CRMs, knowledge management, and project management systems (preferred: Workday Help, Jira, Confluence).
- Experience managing employee data/transactions and pulling HRIS reports (preferred: Workday).
- Project management experience.
- Nice to have: degree in Human Resources, Computer Sciences, or related field; SHRM certification; Lean Six Sigma certification.

- Remote eligible; hybrid required (3 days onsite per week) for team members within commutable distance of a Shake Shack Support Center.
