Vice President Human Resources - RETAINED

Ferretti Search is partnering with a private equity-backed organization to hire a Vice President of Human Resources in Charlotte. This role reports to the CEO and leads the enterprise HR strategy to support growth, performance, and value creation.

• Own and execute enterprise HR strategy across talent, culture, organizational design, and performance management.
• Partner with leadership and private equity sponsors to support scaling initiatives, including workforce planning.
• Support M&A activities including diligence, integration planning, and post-merger integration execution.
• Build leadership pipelines and strengthen recruiting infrastructure.
• Improve retention and employee engagement strategies.
• Design and manage compensation structures, bonus programs, and long-term incentive plans aligned with PE expectations.
• Lead change management initiatives across leadership and employee groups.
• Enhance HR systems, processes, and policies to enable a scalable, disciplined organization.

• 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior leadership in a high-growth or private equity-backed environment.
• Ability to operate strategically at the executive level while also executing tactically when needed.
• Demonstrated M&A experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and organizational scaling.
• Strong business partnering skills with ability to influence executives and translate business strategy into people strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree and/or SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.

• Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC).

• Schedule: Full-time.

• Compensation: $200,000–$225,000 base salary plus bonus and equity.
