People Business Partner
Summary
Habitat Health provides comprehensive clinical and social care and health plan coverage through PACE in partnership with organizations including Kaiser Permanente. The People Business Partner serves as a strategic HR advisor to business units, helping leaders and team members achieve organizational objectives and maintain a positive workplace culture.
What you'll do
Advise and coach managers and team members on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Lead employee relations work including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management support.
Partner with leadership to assess workforce needs and implement talent and retention strategies.
Support organizational change efforts through effective communication and team member engagement.
Translate engagement and listening inputs into action plans and consistent follow-through to improve engagement and retention.
Use Culture Amp engagement surveys (including eNPS), stay interviews, and exit survey insights to identify drivers and build targeted action plans.
Enable leaders to strengthen 1:1s, development conversations, recognition practices, and key “Moments that Matter” touchpoints.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to recommend programs, policies, and solutions that drive business results.
Partner with People Operations to ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to anticipate backfills and support recruiting and onboarding.
Requirements
4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR business partner role.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills; ability to lead with influence.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (strongly preferred).
HR certification (nice to have).
