Associate People Business Partner
Summary
GlossGenius builds an ecosystem of business management tools that helps over 100,000 small business owners run their operations end-to-end. The Associate People Business Partner partners with Sales and Customer Experience leaders to execute core people processes and scale manager effectiveness using AI-enabled systems and workflows. The role supports a high-performance culture as the company grows.
What you'll do
- Partner with managers and leaders across Sales and Customer Experience (and other groups as needed) on performance, development, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations
- Own end-to-end people processes including performance reviews, talent calibrations, engagement surveys, and action planning
- Design and facilitate manager training programs; build systems and resources to help managers coach, develop, and retain teams at scale
- Champion an AI-first approach by building AI-powered workflows, tools, and decision-support systems to improve throughput and reduce operational drag across the employee lifecycle
- Analyze trends in performance, engagement, and attrition data and deliver actionable recommendations to business leaders
- Partner cross-functionally on headcount planning, compensation decisions, and compliance
- Support employee relations matters with sound judgment and appropriate escalation
- Contribute to the People team roadmap by building new programs, processes, and tools
Requirements
2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or People Business Partner roles (preferred: high-growth startup)
Ability to execute people processes (performance reviews, calibrations, manager training) with rigor and follow-through
Proven experience applying AI tools and intelligent automation to improve core HR functions
Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, interpret, and use data to identify trends and drive action
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both individual contributors and senior leaders
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can take problems from 0 to 1
High empathy paired with high standards and accountability
Conditions
Location: New York City; in-office 3–4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Compensation: base salary range $100,000–$135,000 plus equity and benefits (NY)
