Senior Financial Reporting Manager - Group Reporting (all genders)

Zalando is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Manager for Group Reporting to consolidate parent and subsidiary companies and create group financial statements. This role involves ensuring quality and accuracy of interim and annual financial statements while technically adapting and developing the SAP S/4 Group Reporting consolidation tool.

• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Zalando Group according to IFRS
• Independently prepare or support preparation of consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement through consolidation of all legal entities using SAP S/4 Group Reporting
• Support creation of group notes and group segment reporting for half-yearly and annual reports
• Develop and enhance the SAP S/4 Group Reporting consolidation tool to meet business dynamics
• Manage monthly expense and revenue consolidation, debt consolidation, and intercompany profit elimination
• Collaborate closely with external quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reporting colleagues
• Analyze and find technical solutions for new accounting and financial reporting topics; serve as contact for auditors
• Participate in M&A transactions as key stakeholder for smooth integration

• Completed university degree in Business Administration with focus on Accounting or Auditing
• Ideally 4-5 years of professional experience in accounting or at an audit firm
• Sound knowledge of group consolidation
• SAP skills and ideally knowledge of consolidation software
• Affinity for technically optimizing processes
• Fluent English and German language skills (required)
