Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition

The Infrastructure Recruiting Senior Manager leads hiring across core infrastructure domains (AI platform, cloud, data, security, reliability engineering) and translates technical roadmaps into executable hiring plans to ensure predictable delivery and sustained hiring quality.

What you'll do

  • Advise business leaders and cross-functional partners using data and insights to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Develop talent strategies using market data, trends, and insights; oversee execution to meet business needs.
  • Monitor progress against delivery metrics to meet hiring demand goals; identify gaps and mitigation plans.
  • Analyze recruiting funnel patterns and calibrate with senior leadership on trends and insights.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead process improvement opportunities; own change efforts across the business unit.
  • Evaluate and lead adoption of AI solutions to optimize workflows and improve data-driven decision-making; share best practices to build team fluency.
  • Drive adoption of Customer Zero practices, ensuring timely feedback, engagement, and process expectations.
  • Manage projects and initiatives tied to functional strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide large or multiple teams; provide growth support via 1:1s, OKR reviews, and career development discussions.
  • Build an inclusive team environment by valuing diverse perspectives and addressing bias or collaboration barriers.
  • Establish formal coaching and mentoring channels and enable shared learning and best practices across teams.
  • Drive curiosity and agility by guiding teams through change and encouraging innovative problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources, sourcing, or a related field; OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience using HR systems.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in function-specific recruiting.
  • Skills: AI fluency, change management, communication, cross-team collaboration, data analysis, stakeholder management.

Conditions

  • Location: hybrid (work from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, based on business needs).
  • Role may be based in Sunnyvale, Mountain View, or San Francisco.
  • Compensation may include annual performance bonus, stock, and benefits.
