Inventory Logistics Manager
Summary
AAA Appliance Service Center is a technology-driven service provider focused on efficient, transparent, and eco-friendly customer service for residential and commercial clients. The Inventory Logistics Manager will lead inventory operations and procurement to ensure technicians have the right parts at the right time while improving supply chain performance. This fully remote role supports operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through data-driven inventory and vendor management.
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day inventory operations, including stock monitoring, replenishment planning, and cycle counts to balance availability and carrying costs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, variance analysis, and inventory control best practices.
- Manage procurement end-to-end, including vendor selection, purchase orders, negotiations on pricing/lead times/terms, and ongoing supplier relationships.
- Analyze inventory trends, demand patterns, and technician utilization to optimize stock levels, reduce stockouts, and improve fulfillment rates.
- Forecast demand and produce KPI reporting (e.g., turnover, fill rates, inventory accuracy) to guide decisions.
- Collaborate with service operations, dispatch, and technician teams to anticipate parts needs and support narrow service windows.
- Use inventory management software/ERP tools to streamline workflows and drive continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory accuracy, inventory control, and supply chain management (preferably in service, appliance, or field-service environments).
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with inventory management software and systems; ERP experience is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical ability to translate complex inventory data into actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles (demand forecasting, cycle counting, safety stock optimization).
- Procurement and vendor management experience, including negotiation and contract oversight.
- Excellent organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
Conditions
Work arrangement: Fully remote.
Schedule: Flexible scheduling options.
Compensation: $65,000–$99,000 per year base salary; eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
