Summary
Blue Owl Capital (NYSE: OWL) is a leading alternative asset manager investing across Credit, GP Strategic Capital, and Real Assets. The Digital Infrastructure Associate will support investing and managing digital infrastructure opportunities by performing underwriting, diligence, and transaction execution for the Real Assets platform.
What you'll do
- Develop detailed underwriting models and financial analyses, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Draft and prepare investment materials and memos for the Investment Committee, lenders, and investors
- Support due diligence and execution for transactions on both buy-side and sell-side
- Screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, supply/demand dynamics, and comparable assets/transactions
- Assist with ongoing asset and fund management responsibilities
- Travel for business development activities, including site tours and management meetings, and support relationships with banks and third parties
- Complete special and ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a transaction-oriented role in real estate or infrastructure (e.g., private equity, acquisitions, development) or a financial role (e.g., investment banking, structured finance, project finance)
- Basic knowledge of real estate and/or digital infrastructure valuation and capital markets
- Strong aptitude for financial modeling, research, and real estate underwriting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong work ethic and acute attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to gather data, critically assess information, solve problems resourcefully, and present clear conclusions
- Excellent academic background
- Ability to contribute positively to team culture with a selfless commitment
Conditions
Location: New York or Chicago (role based in one of these offices)
Compensation: Expected base annual salary range $150,000–$160,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on individual and team performance
Travel: Travel required for on-site tours and meetings as part of business development and diligence
