Crossing Hurdles is hiring an English Voice Coach / Audio Captioning Expert on an hourly contract basis for remote work. The role focuses on analyzing and annotating short audio recordings to assess vocal qualities and speaker intent. The purpose is to provide consistent, detailed feedback and help refine annotation guidelines and processes.

• Analyze and annotate short audio recordings for tone, pitch, timbre, and clarity.
• Assess emotional expression, personality, and speaker intent.
• Evaluate articulation, breath control, and vocal expressiveness.
• Provide clear written feedback on vocal performance.
• Collaborate to refine annotation guidelines and review processes.
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail across reviews.

• Expertise in vocal techniques and sound production.
• Experience as a voice coach, voice-over artist, or music teacher.
• Strong analytical ability to detect subtle vocal differences.
• Background in voice coaching, linguistics, phonetics, or speech analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1–C2).
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
