Summary

Teradata builds a cloud analytics and data platform for AI used by leading enterprises globally. The SVP, CIO is an executive leadership role responsible for defining and executing Teradata’s global technology vision to enable business strategy, operational excellence, and long-term growth.

This leader will modernize core platforms, strengthen cybersecurity and resilience, and improve the digital employee experience across a complex global environment.

What you'll do

  • Shape and execute an enterprise-wide technology strategy aligned to business objectives and transformation priorities.
  • Lead modernization across cloud, AI/ML, analytics, ERP/CRM, digital experience platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Drive operational excellence through reliable global service delivery, cost optimization, and strong technology governance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify and deliver technology-enabled growth opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Apply foundational AI skills to explore and implement ways AI can enhance productivity, innovation, and workforce impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to co-create digital and operational transformation programs.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, data, and product leaders to enable secure, data-driven innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading large-scale, global digital and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Deep expertise across modern enterprise IT platforms, infrastructure, and operating models.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate enterprise strategy into executable technology roadmaps.
  • Executive-level communication and influence skills, including C-suite and board engagement.
  • Foundational AI skills and ability to apply AI to improve outcomes.
  • Experience modernizing complex global IT ecosystems, including cloud, data, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong change management and organizational transformation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing, diverse global teams.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Financial discipline including FinOps, vendor management, and technical debt reduction.
