Principal Program Manager - AI Project Charter

Bolt is seeking a Principal Program Manager to design and implement AI tools, agents, and decision systems for Rides Operations. This individual contributor role focuses on building scalable AI solutions with high ownership and measurable impact across global markets.

• Build and deploy AI tools, agents, dashboards, and decision systems for Rides Operations covering diagnostics, optimization, forecasting, policy enforcement, and reporting automation
• Translate operational complexity into scalable AI solutions with measurable impact by identifying high-friction problems and defining use cases
• Deliver independently while partnering where scale or integration is required, using internal data, APIs, LLMs, and automation frameworks
• Create decision materials for leadership highlighting trade-offs, risks, and impact through structured AI reviews
• Develop scaling playbooks and drive adoption across regions, tracking performance and iterating based on feedback
• Establish principles and governance for responsible AI use ensuring solutions are explainable, compliant, and aligned with platform standards

• Demonstrated hands-on experience building and deploying applied AI solutions including AI agents and model fine-tuning
• Practical experience with enterprise AI ecosystems such as Google Cloud and Gemini with hands-on usage of GPT or Claude including API and workflow integrations
• Strong programme delivery capabilities translating business needs into prioritized execution plans
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and align technical implementation with business objectives
• Experience operating within scaled organizations where AI solutions are live and integrated into core processes
• 8-12 years of combined technical and business working experience
• Advantageous: broader machine learning background, Python and SQL proficiency, and vendor management experience

Schedule & Location: Hybrid mode with minimum 3 days in office per week
