Art Director

Herman-Scheer is hiring a full-time Art Director to lead creative vision across campaigns, branding, production, and ongoing content retainers. The role blends real-world shoots, graphic design, and AI-generated storytelling to create high-trust visual identities for health, wellness, and self-care brands.

• Lead art direction across photography, design, video, and AI-generated content while maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity
• Develop and execute creative concepts aligned with strategic briefs and client goals
• Lead production for photo and video shoots, briefing photographers, DPs, stylists, talent, and post-production partners
• Use AI tools hands-on to generate imagery, accelerating ideation and scaling content production
• Build visual systems and content guidelines that work across platforms and campaigns
• Provide creative direction for UGC and influencer content while maintaining brand standards
• Collaborate with strategy, social, and account teams to ensure content is platform-native and performance-aware
• Support agency initiatives including content, case studies, and new business/pitch proposals

• Experience leading image art direction and design on brand campaigns and varied content projects
• Ability to direct photographers, directors of photography (DPs), and production teams
• Strong cultural awareness online and in real life
• Skill translating aspirational concepts into content that performs
• Experience collaborating within creative teams to build and evolve brands
• Hands-on interest and capability with AI image generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Weavy)
• Understanding of how content adapts across platforms and formats
