ZentixSoft is a British-Ukrainian full-cycle IT company seeking a Senior Ruby Engineer to join a global payments squad for a major American digital subscription service. You will work on a world-renowned e-book and audiobook platform's high-scale payments and billing ecosystem handling authorization, settlements, and dunning processes globally.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications for high-scale payment systems. Integrate with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) like Stripe, Braintree, and Adyen. Build, operate, and monitor AWS infrastructure. Drive complex features from design to production with strong ownership. Handle authorization, settlements, and dunning processes for a global platform.

Requirements

5+ years of backend experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails for high-scale systems. Payments domain expertise with integrations to PSPs (Stripe, Braintree, Adyen). 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS. Upper-Intermediate English or higher. Strong ownership and ability to drive complex features. Bonus: Databricks analytics/observability experience, hands-on use of AI productivity tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Copilot).
