What you'll do
- Build and maintain backend services in C# / .NET 8 (LTS)
- Work in legacy code (ASP.NET 4.8 / WCF) and help carve out cleaner services over time
- Contribute to safer delivery by replacing manual release steps with CI/CD and improving deployment traceability
- Build or integrate supporting services (some in Python) and internal tooling/scripts
- Contribute to modern UI codebases (React and/or Angular) when needed
- Write and tune queries across SQL Server and MySQL
- Operate within strict SDLC: PR-based workflow, peer reviews, mandatory security scanning (SAST)
Requirements
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent impact)
- Strong C# / .NET fundamentals and comfort working in large codebases
- Experience in enterprise or government-style environments with regulated systems, high-availability, and audit trails
- Practical exposure to CI/CD and environments
- Comfort across broader stack: Python, React/Angular, strong debugging instincts
- Nice to have: Azure experience, observability tools (App Insights, ELK, Grafana/Prometheus), legacy system modernization experience, security-minded habits
Conditions
