Retail Program Manager, Experiences

Summary

Netflix’s Experiences team builds permanent and touring fan venues (including Netflix House) that bring titles to life and extend fandom through immersive entertainment and merchandise. The Retail Program Manager, Experiences role leads retail operations planning and systems to ensure the right assortments are delivered to stores on time and retail workflows run efficiently across corporate, product development, and store teams.

What you'll do

  • Own and evolve the Retail Operating Model, aligning Corporate, Product Development, and Store workflows into an efficient seasonal rhythm.

  • Manage the Retail Op Model calendar and ensure teams have the tools and time needed to meet key deliverables.

  • Align with cross-functional partners to integrate Retail into overall Netflix House strategy and plans.

  • Partner with Product Development & Creative to integrate timelines and ensure on-time product delivery to stores.

  • Partner with Store Teams to provide resources and information needed to hit revenue targets and deliver strong customer experiences.

  • Own and administer project management tools/systems (e.g., Monday, Airtable) to keep workflows on track.

  • Monitor retail workflows, driving solutions and pivots with cross-functional teams as needed.

  • Build and maintain Retail standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Manage Retail purchase orders and invoicing in partnership with Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Finance.

  • Anticipate future operational needs and mitigate inefficiencies before they arise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate, Product, or Store Retail Operations (preference for vertical retail experience).

  • Proven experience building a Retail Operating Model from scratch or scaling one in a high-growth environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify workflow bottlenecks and redesign systems to eliminate them.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through process changes and gaining buy-in for new ways of working.

  • Expert proficiency with project management systems (e.g., Monday.com, Airtable, Asana), including building automated workflows, relational databases, and executive dashboards.

  • Deep understanding of retail product calendars and product development timing/actions.

  • Ability to maintain a single version of truth in fast-changing environments with shifting dates.

  • Exceptional technical writing skills; ability to translate strategy into field-ready SOPs.

  • Experience creating compliance checklists and/or audit frameworks for consistent store execution.

  • Experience supporting multiple permanent physical locations from a corporate role.

  • Experience on special projects/new ventures without an existing playbook.

  • Experience managing operational flow for high-volume SKU assortments in consumer products.

  • Strong passion for retail, fandoms, and consumer trends; excellent verbal and digital communication.

  • Experience with Google Suite.

  • Global experience preferred.

Conditions

  • Compensation: Annual salary range $205,000–$343,000; employees can choose salary versus stock options (no bonuses).
