Scheduler - P6 Primavera
Summary
KOMAN Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support its Construction Sector subsidiaries on federal government construction projects in a remote setting. The role focuses on developing, managing, and optimizing integrated project schedules while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and project controls standards.
What you'll do
- Lead project scheduling meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure schedules meet company standards and client needs.
- Create, manage, and regularly update detailed project schedules for federal construction projects using Primavera P6, MS Project, and other tools.
- Analyze schedules from multiple sources to ensure project integrity and optimize sequencing for constructability.
- Read and interpret contracts to identify critical dates, deliverables, and performance obligations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, vendors, and consultants to align schedules with actual execution.
- Manage project cost and schedule using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) practices.
- Track permitting applications and approvals, ensuring submissions are timely, accurate, and well-documented.
- Maintain centralized records of timelines, approvals, reports, and key correspondence.
- Communicate updates cross-functionally, track milestones, and monitor program performance metrics.
- Identify and assess project risk from the RFP phase and incorporate it into schedules per contractual documents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project scheduling experience.
- BS, MS, other advanced degree, or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
- Federal contracting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of schedule development using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Experience generating resource- and cost-loaded schedules.
- Cost and resource loading expertise.
- Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS) experience.
- Experience with change management identification within project schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong document, plan, and procedure preparation skills.
Conditions
Work setting: Remote.
Salary range: $90,000–$110,000 annually.
