Sourcing Lead
Summary
Netflix is seeking a Sourcing Lead to join its Supplier Management Operations team and manage end-to-end sourcing projects across indirect spend categories, with a focus on Marketing. The role partners closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to run RFx processes, negotiate commercial terms, and drive value creation and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Lead and support sourcing projects from initiation to completion across indirect categories (especially Marketing) aligned to stakeholder objectives
- Oversee the full RFx process including requirements gathering, bid execution, supplier evaluation, and negotiation of commercial terms
- Track project timelines and deliverables; provide updates and comprehensive reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and programs as defined by leadership
- Analyze market trends and supplier spend data to identify value creation and operational efficiency opportunities
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to internal team members to co-lead sourcing projects and improve sourcing capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Legal, Risk, Security) to ensure alignment and compliance throughout execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to optimize sourcing operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
Working knowledge of supplier management, governance, and vendor management processes
Proven track record managing end-to-end sourcing projects and leading commercial negotiations
Experience supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict timelines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment
Conditions
Location: Los Angeles office; role reports to the global leader of Supplier Management Operations
Compensation: annual salary range $155,000–$240,000; no bonuses; option to choose salary versus stock options annually
