Crossing Hurdles is hiring a remote Legal Expert to support legal AI use cases through prompt writing and evaluation. The role focuses on assessing and improving AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, reasoning, and real-world appropriateness.

• Write and refine prompts for legal AI use cases.
• Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, reasoning, clarity, and completeness.
• Conduct fact-checking using trusted public sources and authoritative references.
• Annotate responses by identifying strengths, weaknesses, and inaccuracies.
• Assess tone and appropriateness for real-world legal scenarios.
• Follow structured taxonomies, benchmarks, and evaluation guidelines.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model behavior and reliability.

• Significant professional legal experience with a JD, LLB, LLM, or equivalent.
• Expertise in at least one domain: Corporate/Commercial, Employment/Human Rights, Public/Criminal/International, or Private Law.
• Strong written communication and analytical reasoning skills.
• Experience evaluating complex arguments and legal logic.
• Familiarity with large language models and their practical use.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Hourly contract role.
• Compensation: $105 per hour.
