The Senior Data Visualization Developer will design and deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards and visual stories that translate complex business needs into actionable insights and better decisions.
What you'll do
Design and deliver dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business decision-making across the organization.
Apply data visualization best practices and design standards to ensure consistent architecture, layout, and user experience.
Create clear, actionable visual narratives for audiences ranging from executives to analysts.
Collaborate with data modeling teams to define semantic layer requirements, improve report performance, and ensure scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve visualization performance issues, user adoption challenges, and report accuracy concerns.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather analytical needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Stay current on Power BI updates, industry trends, and emerging visualization techniques to continuously improve deliverables.
Requirements
4+ years of experience with a BI or visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
1+ years of working experience with Power BI.
4+ years of experience working with data and SQL.
4+ years of experience in business requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and translating strategic objectives into technical visualization solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical/quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred: experience supporting Sales organizations (sales metrics, pipeline reporting, quota attainment, forecasting).
Preferred: working knowledge of semantic layer architecture and collaboration with data modeling teams.
Preferred: experience across the full solution lifecycle (requirements to deployment, adoption, and optimization).
Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools that enhance Power BI (e.g., SharePoint, Teams integration, Fabric).
Conditions
Hybrid work model: performed from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs.
Role is based in one of the listed locations depending on where the selected candidate resides.
