Summary
Notion builds an all-in-one workspace that connects docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email with AI to help teams get work done. As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner with Engineering and founders to identify, attract, and close top technical talent while shaping recruiting best practices across San Francisco and New York City.
What you'll do
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through close while delivering a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience.
- Partner strategically with Engineering to align hiring plans with business goals and timing.
- Develop and lead creative multi-channel recruiting strategies, maintaining a disciplined focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Inspire and engage candidates through all interview stages and drive strong closing outcomes.
- Use data to make informed decisions and improve recruiting efficiency and process quality.
- Coach technical hiring teams and manage recruiting pipelines across San Francisco and New York City.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering recruiting experience (ideally a mix of zero-to-one building and hiring at scale).
- Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close exceptional technical talent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high-quality, high-touch service mindset.
- Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach with a company-first mentality.
- Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to work smarter and improve outcomes (AI expertise not required).
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Ashby and modern sourcing tools such as Juicebox.
- Notion user and fan.
Conditions
- In-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (designated Anchor Days); some teams may require additional in-office days.
- Highly competitive compensation package including cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
- Base salary range for San Francisco or New York City: $140,000–$195,000 per year (varies by location, scope, and experience).
