Python (Django) Developer

PLANEKS is seeking a Python (Django) Developer to join their remote team. The role involves developing, supporting, and maintaining software projects built with Python, focusing on creating new products and solving technical challenges while maintaining high code quality.

• Develop, support, and maintain projects in Python, creating products from scratch or extending existing projects
• Solve technical challenges across diverse projects with varying requirements
• Ensure code quality through writing clean, readable code and comprehensive documentation
• Participate in code reviews with team members and senior developers
• Communicate with internal and external teams including clients and colleagues
• Continuously improve technical and soft skills through regular feedback and mentorship

• Software development experience with Python and Django
• Knowledge of other Python frameworks such as Flask
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
• Familiarity with Celery, Redis, and ElasticSearch
• Knowledge of cloud providers, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
• Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing
• Knowledge of REST APIs and REST principles
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (0-20% of activity)
• Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking)
