Summary
Jobgether is hiring a People Operations Manager for a partner company in the United States to lead and scale core HR functions in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. The role oversees day-to-day HR operations and partners with leadership to improve processes, policies, systems, and the overall employee experience.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end People Operations functions including employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS management, payroll, and compliance reporting.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability across HR operations.
- Serve as an HR advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Collaborate with Finance and leadership to ensure accurate payroll, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain, optimize, and report on HRIS data to support operations and decision-making.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as policy development, total rewards strategy, and scalable employee programs.
- Manage compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including documentation, employee records, and leave requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience with strong HR generalist expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; HR certifications preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Expert knowledge of employee benefits, leave of absence administration, compliance, and employment laws/regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Rippling) and maintaining accurate HR data.
- Proven ability to implement structure and improve processes for operational consistency.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to support diverse teams.
- Preferred: healthcare industry experience; experience in both startup and established organizations.
Conditions

- Salary range: $95,000–$150,000 annually (varies by location).
