SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER

Summary

Space307 is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and develop backend services for a new product. The role involves hands-on development of APIs, infrastructure setup, LLM integration, and technical leadership including code reviews and mentoring.

What you'll do

  • Design the architecture of backend services for a new product: from stack selection to data schema.
  • Develop APIs, authorization systems, payment integrations, and subscriptions — hands-on implementation.
  • Set up and maintain infrastructure: CI/CD, cloud services, monitoring, deployment.
  • Integrate LLM API (Gemini / OpenAI) into products and control inference costs.
  • Conduct code reviews for the mobile part (React Native) and mentor a React Native developer.
  • Iterate quickly: prioritize launch over perfection, improve after launch.
  • Present technical solutions and results to the CEO and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and developing APIs in Python 3.12+ (FastAPI).
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL + Redis — schemas, migrations (Alembic), caching.
  • Experience with GCP / AWS — Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, Terraform.
  • CI/CD pipeline setup: Docker, GitHub Actions, Fastlane.
  • Understanding of authorization and payments: JWT / OAuth2, Stripe API + webhooks, RevenueCat.
  • Experience integrating LLM API (Gemini / OpenAI) and understanding inference costs.
  • Familiarity with mobile development (React Native) at code review level.
  • Experience with background tasks and push notifications: Celery + RabbitMQ/Redis.
  • Test writing capability (pytest).
  • Autonomous and driven: handle entire backend independently.
  • Ability to prioritize, launch, and improve on the go — speed and pragmatism.
  • Active use of AI tools in daily work (Claude Code, Cursor).
  • Technical leadership capabilities: code reviews, mentoring, establishing processes.
  • Fluent in Russian, English B2+ (documentation, API, team communication).
