Senior Java Engineer

Spotware Systems is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services. The role involves collaborating with architects and technical leads on software architecture while working closely with QA to ensure quality deliverables.

• Designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications, components, and services
• Collaborating with architects and technical leads to define software architecture and design patterns
• Working closely with QA engineers to ensure quality and reliability of software deliverables
• Following specifications and requirements provided by Product Manager with strict plans and deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Solid experience with unit testing
• Strong J2SE programming skills
• Multi-threading experience (Executors, locks)
• Understanding of Collections framework and its pitfalls
• Experience with Spring Web and Spring IoC
• Experience in TCP/IP networking and sockets programming (Netty nice to have)
• Strong SQL experience
• Skills in high performance and low latency environments
• Strong analytical skills for solving complicated technical problems
• Fluency in Russian and B1+ English language proficiency
