Chief of Staff to CEO

Summary

Bureau is a unified risk decisioning platform for compliance, fraud, and transaction risks, used by 150+ banks, fintechs, retailers, and digital platforms globally. The Chief of Staff to the CEO will act as a strategic and operational force multiplier, owning the company operating system and driving execution across functions. This role focuses on turning strategy into outcomes across planning, alignment, and major initiatives like international expansion and GTM acceleration.

What you'll do

  • Own the operating system including quarterly planning, OKRs, leadership reviews, and operating cadences.

  • Run executive offsites, board preparation, and company-wide forums; accelerate cross-functional decision-making.

  • Lead strategic projects such as international expansion (market entry, GTM execution, partnerships).

  • Drive organizational design initiatives including restructuring, performance management, and leadership transitions.

  • Accelerate go-to-market execution through sales playbooks, channel strategy, and revenue operations improvements.

  • Support product launches and fundraising preparation.

  • Create strategic memos, decision documents, and company updates; prepare materials for board meetings, all-hands, and investor updates.

  • Enable the CEO by prioritizing initiatives, preparing decision briefs, framing tradeoffs, and ensuring follow-through.

  • Monitor KPIs across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance; identify bottlenecks and scaling gaps.

  • Build dashboards and drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in strategy, operations, or business leadership (e.g., consulting, BizOps, GTM strategy, or high-growth startups).

  • Preferred background in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise B2B.

  • Proven track record building or improving revenue operations, strategic initiatives, or company-wide processes.

  • Strategic thinking ability to turn ambiguity into structured plans with clear outcomes.

  • Strong operational rigor: building systems, tracking metrics, and enforcing processes.

  • Executive communication skills: writing memos/briefs that drive decisions and influencing without authority.

  • Execution bias with high ownership, follow-through, and accountability.

  • Bonus: consulting background or top-tier MBA; international expansion/emerging markets experience; prior Chief of Staff, Strategy & Ops, or BizOps experience.
