Agile Scrum Master

Summary

US Company seeking experienced Agile Scrum Masters for a complex, enterprise-level project building sophisticated Agentic Systems and Adaptive RAG engines. This full-time remote position involves coaching distributed teams in Agile maturity and practices while working on cutting-edge SaaS technology for sustainability and operational risk management.

What you'll do

  • Assess Agile maturity of squads and coach them to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace
  • Conduct training for establishing Agile fundamentals in software development teams
  • Introduce new retrospective techniques to keep teams energized and improving
  • Coach leadership and teams in identifying and removing impediments to quality product delivery
  • Lead Agile workshops for development, functional teams, and key stakeholders
  • Promote continuous improvement culture, setting goals and milestones with accountability
  • Guide teams on Agile/Scrum practices, values, and self-organization
  • Provide servant leadership support and lead by example
  • Coach teams in Root Cause Analysis sessions
  • Run and coach Agile Product leaders in value mapping sessions
  • Support and educate Product Owners on backlog grooming and maintenance
  • Remove impediments by finding the right personnel and guiding teams
  • Build trusting, safe environment for problem-raising and problem-solving
  • Facilitate work completion without coercion, assigning, or dictating
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assist with internal and external communication, transparency, and information radiating

Requirements

  • Must Have: 5+ years of Scrum/Agile Master experience, preferably at enterprise level
  • At least 3 years experience in Agile Coach role for software development teams applying Agile principles
  • Strong knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency
  • Knowledge of patterns and techniques for Agile approach gaps (Burndown technologies, Retrospective formats, bug handling, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Ability to facilitate Agile games and workshops
  • Awareness of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, SAFe
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to follow EU business hours with readiness to cover evening hours for Canada teams
  • Plus: Agile/Scrum Master certifications; Flexibility to respond to changing organizational and business demands

Conditions

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), flexible schedule aligned with EU business hours

Location: 100% remote work
