Senior Python Engineer

Senior Python Engineer position at an innovative AI company developing conversational voice-based solutions for the restaurant industry. The role focuses on designing and implementing complex backend systems that handle audio streams in real-time while running key AI algorithms.

• Design and implement complex parts of the Python-based backend infrastructure
• Develop distributed architecture solutions handling real-time audio streams
• Manage concurrency while optimizing for performance and scale
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews
• Develop and deploy production-grade systems in cloud environments
• Work on backend systems that process audio streams and run AI algorithms

• 5+ years of professional Python experience
• Proven mentoring/tech lead/team lead experience with code review and guidance capabilities
• Strong software design and backend development skills
• Experience developing and deploying multiple production projects
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Bonus: Architecture experience, gRPC, Async IO, WebRTC, and Ansible knowledge
