Junior Backend / Full-stack Engineer (No Experience, First Job)

Peanut Trade is building a system to analyze the crypto market and find trading opportunities across blockchains and centralized exchanges. We are seeking a Junior Backend/Full-stack Engineer (first job) who is a current university student with strong math and algorithmic competition background to join our team working on high-speed data processing and trading strategies.

• Build and maintain services for high-speed data processing
• Integrate with blockchain nodes and crypto exchange APIs
• Improve reliability, performance, and monitoring of components
• Propose and test ideas for new trading strategies together with the team

• Current university student (Bachelor or Master) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• No full-time work experience as a developer
• Strong math/algorithmic background with experience in math/informatics olympiads, ICPC, or similar competitions
• Basic understanding of blockchain and crypto fundamentals: transactions, wallets, DEX/CEX, market makers, and liquidity
• Ability to read and understand technical English (docs, GitHub, articles)
• Basic level knowledge of: Linux, Docker, SQL, Redis, WebSockets, REST
• Ability to take tasks, think critically, ask right questions, and complete work independently
• Nice to have: Web3 or blockchain basics, CEX/DEX APIs, Microservices, RabbitMQ
