Node.js AI Engineer

Mindtech Studio is seeking a Node.js AI Engineer to work on cutting-edge artificial intelligence and automation technologies. This role involves developing AI assistants, platforms, and interfaces that help businesses improve efficiency through modern backend development and AI integrations.

• Participate in creation and development of AI assistants, platforms, and interfaces
• Handle regular technical challenges with new customer cases weekly
• Work with AI tools including OpenAI API, WhatsApp/Telegram API, OCR, and N8N
• Build complex business process automations using workflow automation platforms, particularly N8N
• Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows connecting multiple services and APIs
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and automation tools

• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience
• Proficiency in Node.js (Vanilla/TypeScript)
• Experience with NestJS, NextJS, and/or Express
• Strong skills in SQL/NoSQL database design and optimization
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals: data types, data structures, algorithms
• Proficiency with modern tech stack: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), Ansible
• Advanced AWS knowledge beyond EC2 and S3
• Understanding of software design principles and system design
• Experience with distributed, high availability, and resilient systems
• Comfortable working in Agile environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or better)
• Willingness to learn workflow automation tools and adapt to evolving AI technologies
