Sr. Executive Assistant

Summary

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, is hiring a Senior Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Chief Financial Officer. The role focuses on optimizing executive time, ensuring meeting readiness, coordinating complex travel and expenses, and improving team systems and processes while handling highly confidential information.

What you'll do

  • Plan, organize, and manage the executive calendar; resolve conflicts and protect/align time with priorities
  • Organize and ensure content preparedness for internal/external meetings and special events (all hands, off-sites, culture events, team building)
  • Participate in meetings for notetaking and follow-up documentation
  • Anticipate the critical rhythm of business initiatives and adjust support accordingly
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Manage and reconcile expense reports, purchase orders, and procurement requisitions in accordance with budget and policy standards
  • Partner with communications and public relations teams on company-wide and external communications
  • Answer, screen, and route internal/external correspondence, requests, subpoenas, and other communications
  • Provide back-up support for other executive assistants and champion the admin community
  • Maintain email distribution lists/aliases
  • Support special projects as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact with workplace services to meet team facility needs
  • Lead improvements to structure, efficiency, and execution across the organization
  • Drive changes in systems, tools, and processes; establish and share best practices
  • Apply strong judgment, discretion, and confidentiality while multitasking with minimal direction

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience at a senior and/or executive administrative level
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting VP+ leaders
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with excellent judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and operate in ambiguous/fast-paced environments
  • Ability to proactively anticipate needs and solve complex problems creatively
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with SharePoint
  • Ability to set up and manage virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Preferred: experience as a trusted business partner supporting a C-suite executive (ideally a CFO/finance leader)
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to build relationships and mentor/partner across an executive admin team

Conditions

  • Location: on-site, full-time based on business needs
  • Worksites: San Francisco and Mountain View, California (role based in both offices)
  • Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, stock, and benefits
  • Pay range stated: $107,000–$173,000 per year (varies by candidate factors and work location)
