Business Analyst Trainee (Individual Training, BA Internship)

Remote Intern

Summary

Sysgears is seeking a Business Analyst Trainee for an individual training internship program. This role offers hands-on experience in business analysis with mentorship from lead analysts, covering real-life scenarios and practical projects. Upon successful completion, the trainee will transition to a Junior Business Analyst position with opportunities for professional growth to Middle and Senior levels.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and QAs to deliver projects efficiently
  • Communicate with stakeholders to identify needs and clarify requirements
  • Analyze, validate, groom, and document requirements for web and mobile projects
  • Visualize business processes and prepare data models for software projects
  • Advise stakeholders on common practices and possible product solutions
  • Perform competitor and market analysis to assist in developing product ideas
  • Communicate project vision and coordinate development with engineering teams
  • Manage development workflow applying Agile methodologies
  • Participate in BA service interactions with clients and engineers

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Business Analysis basics
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Good organizational and leadership instincts
  • Upper-intermediate English level (speaking and writing)
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about quality results
  • Constantly learning new trends in IT business analysis and management
  • High empathy and deep understanding of people's needs
  • Professional, punctual, balanced with good self-management abilities
  • Advantageous: Technical background (QA, design, development) or management experience outside IT

Conditions

Schedule & Duration: Internship duration up to 2-3 months depending on performance
